By using or accessing our website, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions of use as they apply to your use of or access to our website.

If you do not wish to be bound by these Terms and Conditions then you may not use our website.

Our website is a place for you to select and order car hire in Spain. Details of the car hire and the supplier are shown on our website next to each product. Car hire is subject to the Terms and Conditions imposed by the supplier. In the event of any conflict between the Terms and Conditions of sale of the supplier and these Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions of the supplier shall prevail.

By using this site you acknowledge the contract for sale and purchase of the car hire in question is exclusively a contract between yourself and the supplier of the car hire.

You will be subject to the specific terms of the supplier of car hire set out below:

Econorent

The car hire prices include:

Unlimited mileage, airport fees, VAT.

Fully comprehensive insurance with:

CDW: Collision Damage Waiver is included with no excess (as long as the additional insurance is taken out) [ACCIDENT/POLICE REPORT FORMS MUST BE FILLED IN IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE TO THE CAR OR CHARGES WILL BE APPLIED]

2 Drivers

The car hire prices do not include:

The insurance does not cover tyres, wheels, lost keys, windscreens, clutch, undercarriage and interior of the car. In case of damage the hirer is liable for such items.

Additional insurance to cover windows and tires is:
Group A1 €5 Euros per day with a minimum €35 Euros and a maximum €90
Group C €5.71 Euros per day with a minimum €40 Euros and a maximum €90
Group C1 €7.14 Euros per day with a minimum €50 Euros and a maximum €90
Group D €8.57 Euros per day with a minimum €60 Euros and a maximum €90
Group F €10.71 Euros per day with a minimum €75 Euros and a maximum €90
Group L €12.85 Euros per day with a minimum €90 Euros and a maximum €90

Additional insurance to cover tires, windscreens, wheels, damage to the car(not negligence) 24 hour assistance is:
Group A1 €6 Euros per day with a minimum €50 Euros and a maximum €150
Group C €7 Euros per day with a minimum €55 Euros and a maximum €150
Group C1 €8 Euros per day with a minimum €65 Euros and a maximum €150
Group D €9 Euros per day with a minimum €75 Euros and a maximum €150
Group F €12 Euros per day with a minimum €80 Euros and a maximum €150
Group L €14 Euros per day with a minimum €95 Euros and a maximum €150

If this insurance is not taken out you will have an excess:
A1 - €450
C - €500
C1 - €600
D - €700
F - €800
L - €900

Tow-away service due to client's negligence, traffic fines, damaged tyres etc

Theft of personal effects

Loss or damage to car keys (replacement cost €120 Euros).

Fuel: TWO OPTIONS AVAILABLE - FULL TO FULL AND FULL TO EMPTY DEPENDING ON THE CHOICE OF CAR

Damage to glass, tyres, interior, top and bottom of car fines, clutch and tracking coats

Baby seat (18 months – 3 years) €5 Euros per day with a maximum of €50 Euros per rental

Booster seat (3+ years) €3 Euros per day with a maximum of €30 Euros per rental

Maxi Cosi (0-18 months) €5 Euros per day with a maximum of €50 Euros per rental

Additional driver (Main and second included) €10 Euros per rental

ARRIVAL OR DEPARTURE OUT OF HOURS BETWEEN 22-00 AND 08-00 €35 EUROS

Drivers under 25 and over 70 €4.5 Euros per day with a maximum €54 Euros per rental

Groups L & N1 require €110 Euros per week non refundable deposit (booking dates can be changed without the loss of the deposit but cancellation and no-shows will result in the loss of the deposit).

Requirements:

A valid credit card will be required at car hire collection point or if paying in cash the additional insurance must be taken out.

Drivers must be 21 years of age and have held a valid driving license for at least two years.

Drivers under 25 and over 70 €4.5 Euros per day with a maximum €54 Euros per rental

Groups may contain similar models to those specified. No model can be guaranteed in any group.

ALL PRICES ARE FOR THE RENTAL ONLY (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED). ADDITIONAL EXTRAS ARE PAID LOCALLY ON ARRIVAL

Please note that the contents of our website are aimed at users aged 16 years and above, but you must be over 21 years to hire cars using the payment methods on our website.

Buying Products on our website

To order car hire you will need to follow the ordering procedures set out on the relevant order page.

Details of the prices for the car hire and the procedures for payment and collection are displayed on or through our website. The price of the car hire is the price in force at the date and time of your order. The price of the car hire may change before you place your order. We try to ensure that the prices displayed on our website are accurate but the price on your order will need to be validated by the supplier as part of the acceptance procedure. We will inform you if the car hire price is higher than that stated in your order and you may cancel the order and decide whether or not to order the car hire at the correct price.

You undertake that all details you provide to us for the purpose of ordering car hire which may be offered by us on our website will be correct.

We will do our best to ensure that all materials and information published on our website are accurate, but please note that all materials and information on our website are provided on an ‘as is’ basis.

Exclusion of Liability

In relation to the purchase of Products, we accept no liability for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, or for any loss of data, profit, revenue or business (whether direct or indirect), however caused, even if foreseeable. Cancellations

There are no charges made for cancelling car hire with hirecarsinspain.com, but there will be no refunds given for rentals ended early, late collections, no shows or cancellations made after the rental start date.

These terms and conditions replace all other Terms and Conditions previously applicable to the use of our website.
